Less than a year after some Saskatchewan people with multiple sclerosis underwent controversial vein therapy in Europe, some are having the out-of-country treatments done over again.
Last summer, people from Saskatoon, Regina and other communities travelled to Poland and Bulgaria to have blocked neck veins opened up through angioplasty - a procedure where a tiny balloon is inflated inside the vein.
