SYDNEY - The federal government has agreed to begin conducting clinical trials of a controversial treatment used to ease the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
Topics : Ottawa , Canada , Nova Scotia Sydney native and Liberal Senator Jane Cordy put forward Bill S-204 on Sunday which seeks to study the relationship between chronic cerebrospinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI).

Cordy was asked to introduce the bill by Liberal MP for Etobicoke North Kirsty Duncan, who has led the charge in Parliament on CCSVI for over a year.
