I really am getting fed up with raising untold amounts of money for the ms society and not getting the help when I need it, which is now the scan on my veins and the CCSVI locally.
They did buy a scooter for me 8 years ago but I did take part with Dr. Paty to develop the MRI as THE Dx for ms. Before that it was a hit and miss afair for dx.
I am very frustrated and disapointed with the ms society and the ms clinic at UBC, they have done very little for ms'ers to help them deal with this disease.

CCSVI vs Scooters
simonyigindele on Wed, 07/07/2010 - 8:01pmYou are expressing the feelings of most of us. CCSVI is going to put a big dent into the scooter business, and will reduce the MS rolls significantly. CCSVI offers to stop progression, improved quality of life, better mobility and for some recovery from MS completely. We do not plan to be offering Scooter here but we want to help you get examined and treated for CCSVI. Steve
Help Getting Tested?
tru2wrd75 on Thu, 07/15/2010 - 5:38amWhat do I do up here in Northern Maine to get tested for CCSVI. I have good insurance but that's not all I'll need I'm sure. My father died from complications from MS and I have this driving me, if I test out for CCSVI. DX'ed 1997 with Optical Nuritis currently taking Tysabri What's my next step? Talking to my Primary or my nuro? Thanks in advance for your comments.
